Operating and Nonprofit Cemeteries Info Session

The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries is hosting a day long event to encourage a better understanding of corporation and operating cemetery practices. At 9:00 am, Lynne Nelson of the Oregon Cemetery and Mortuary Board will discuss the new fee structure, record keeping and other requirements for operating cemeteries. At noon, Cynthia Cumfer, co-author of the Oregon Nonprofit Corporation Handbook & nonprofit lawyer, will discuss types of corporation, requirements to maintain status and more. Both will leave plenty of time for questions.
